COVID-19 Australia Post shipping delays

Australia Post has advised us to expect domestic and international shipping delays as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. As such, our estimated delivery times for flat rate (standard) and express post may no longer be accurate. While they have temporarily suspended the next-day guarantee for express post, it is still the fastest way of receiving your parcel.

Australia Post has also changed the same-day dispatch collection times. See the 'Shipping within Australia' section below for more information.

We ship from within Australia and offer personalised customer service along with fast shipping times.

All you need is love

We personally pack every order and treat each one with care.

All devices and e-liquids are carefully packaged and posted in a poly-cell padded envelope or a priority box, depending on the size of the order. E-liquids are always placed inside zip-lock bags.

While we take care in packing your order, we cannot be responsible for mistakes made by Australia Post including misdirected, lost, mistreated or damaged parcels. If your e-liquid is damaged in transit, it can cause the e-liquid to spill. Any spills will be contained within the zip-lock bag to avoid spilling on other items in the parcel.

Tracking and delivery

Once an order has been processed and shipped, you will receive confirmation and a tracking number via email. On the day of your package arrival, you will receive notifications via SMS and/or email that your parcel is approaching its destination.

If no one is present to sign for the parcel, it will be sent to the nearest post office. You will then be notified via SMS, email and letter box of where to collect your parcel from. Please ensure that you have your ID with you when you collect your parcel from the post office.

Shipping within Australia

COVID-19 Australia Post Update

As of Thursday 2 April 2020, Australia post changed their collection times to two hours earlier as a result of the coronavirus. This means you will now need to place your orders by 1pm AEST to ensure same-day dispatch.

We ship orders from Monday to Friday until 1pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) each day. We will post your order:

  • the same business day if purchased before 1pm AEST
  • the next business day if purchased after 1pm AEST.

Please note: We do not ship on Australian public holidays.

Estimated time of delivery

  • Flat rate (standard post): 2 – 6 business days transit from day of postage.
  • Express post: 1 – 3 business days transit from day of postage.
  • We offer FREE shipping on orders over $100.

Please note: If your parcel has not arrived within the specified time, check your parcel tracking first to see the location of your package. If it’s not on its way to you, contact us and we’ll lodge an inquiry with Australia Post.

International shipping

Due to COVID-19, VapourOxide Australia will not be shipping orders internationally until further notice.

Postal redirects

We take no responsibility for delays, damage or lost parcels due to customer-requested redirects that are organised directly with Australia Post. Please ensure the address details provided at the time of your order are correct and  contact us prior to order dispatch if address details require updating/changing.


In adherence to Australia Post’s policy, loose lithium-ion batteries can only be posted by standard post (flat rate, by road) and not via express post (air) as they are deemed a dangerous good. They can present a fire and safety risk if transported by an air craft.

If your order contains lithium-ion batteries and you choose express post, we must send your items by standard post (flat rate).

We will refund you the difference if you paid for express post.
