Sub-ohm tanks are relatively simple to use but given that they are a little more involved than pod kits, we recommend them for people who have vaped before.
Sub ohm simply means that they are compatible with coils that have a resistance lower than 1.0 ohm. This pretty much covers most tanks since it's the replaceable coil, not the tank itself, that comes in different ohms.
Every tank, unless it's a disposable tank, has a replaceable coil, adjustable airflow and easy filling ports for e-liquid, all of which vary across different vape tanks.
Sub-ohm tank variables are what determine if they are more suitable for mouth-to-lung (MTL), a cigarette-style draw where you hold vapour in your mouth then inhale to the lungs, or direct-lung (DL) vaping where you inhale vapour straight to the lungs, like taking a deep breath.
